Fee's and Funding Types
Soft Landing Family OT believes in providing total transparency regarding fees and invoices. All client types are billed the same hourly rate and families are provided with a breakdown of session costs.

NDIS:
Soft Landings Family OT accepts self-managed and plan managed NDIS funding. Soft Landings Family OT is not a NDIS registered business.

Private Health:
If your private health fund covers occupational therapy, you can claim a portion of the session costs back from them. After paying the full session cost you will be provided with a receipt to submit to your private health fund.

Medicare:
Soft Landing's Family OT does accept Chronic Disease Management Plans, from GP's. These plans provide eligible clients with up to 5 Medicare Rebated sessions. Rebates are claimed by the client directly from Medicare, and do not cover the full session fee.

Travel Cost:
To minimise travel cost Soft Landings Family OT tries to group clients in similar locations on the same day. Travel is billed in 6-minute increments at an overall hourly rate of $96.99, and where a prior agreement has been reached, travel cost is split evenly across participants in similar locations. Travel appointments are not available on Thursdays, and are only available within 15 minutes of Gosnells.

Initial caregiver consultations
Initial caregiver sessions are required at the start of all new referrals. These sessions run for 1 - 2 hours and are typically booked as a 90-minute session. Session cost ranges from $290.98 to $484.97, and is billed based on session length.

Child Assessment Sessions
Child assessment sessions are conducted near the start of a new referral to establish baseline, but rapport building should also be considered to ensure accurate assessment and continued child engagement. These sessions run for 30 - 60 minutes and range in cost from $242.48 - $339.48, depending on session length. Session cost includes post-session assessment scoring and a caregiver feedback email. If full reports are required, they are billed additionally based on time spent and a quote will be provided for this.

Child Ongoing Sessions
The length of child sessions varies from 30 - 60 minutes and this is discussed with caregivers at the Caregiver Consultation. Appointment costs for sessions range from $161.65 - $258.65, dependent on session length.
